PDA served as the Israel Ministry of Tourism's chief advisor for the North American Jewish community. Most notably, PDA developed, launched, and coordinated the Go Israel Tourism Campaign, a major initiative promoting Israel travel in more than 2,000 synagogues and groups across the United States and Canada. Garnering widespread coverage in the press and unprecedented support from all four major Jewish denominations, this campaign has been cited as a major factor contributing to the record number of North American Jews who visited Israel in 2003, 2004, and 2005. PDA also provided strategic planning, resource coordination, and material development services, advising the Ministry on its work with Jewish organizations; preparing briefings and other reports for government officials; designing tools such as advertisements and travel kits; and developing marketing techniques which the Ministry has replicated in other nations across the world.
